Twilight nominated for Best Movie?

In Uncategorized on April 22, 2009 at 2:27 pm

Earlier, MTV asked you to vote for the movie award nominee’s. Twilight was one of the options, and many Twilighters voted.

But was it enough?

On May 4th, you can vote for the winner of the Best Movie award, Best Movie
Best Female Performance, Best Male Performance, Best Breakthrough Female Performance, Best Breakthrough Male Performance, Best Kiss, and Best Fight. (Vote Here)

I would be thrilled if Twilight took home Best Movie. Out of the nominations, I do not believe that Kristen should take home Best Female Performance.

I’d also be happy if Slumdog Millionaire would snatch a couple awards as well. The acting was much better in Slumdog than Twilight. I would give Best Male Performance to Dev Patel, the actor who played Jamal in the movie.

Will you vote on May 4th? If so, for who? Do you think that Twilight should take home all of the awards?

Can hating on Twilight be unhealthy?

In Twilight on April 17, 2009 at 12:14 am

Recently, severeal posts throughout the internet have been of Twilight Haters complaing about getting abused in some sort of way for hating on Twilight.

Twihards — hardcore fans of everything Twilight, have reportedly gotten very violent when hearing the novels and movie being put down.

The abuse has ranged from minor assaults such as verbal abuse, slapping, punching, kicking, all the way to very dramatically and shocking, homicide.

An over-the-top case was even said thata twihard through acid on a boy’s faced and stabbed him repeatedly. Where did he get the acid from?!

While Twilight is an intense obsession of mine, throwing acid on someone’s face, now that’s a bit crazy. Although I do admit to get worked up when someone bags Twilight.                                                                                                                                       Hey, I’m only human. Though I bet you guess what I want to be.

And though severeal stories from Twilight Sucks have a distinctness of fiction, there is no doubt that Twilight has taken over plenty of people’s minds, by the mind blowing books and fanatical vampire, Edward Cullen.

Kristen Stewart’s Birthday

In Cast, Celebrities, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Twilight on April 9, 2009 at 12:33 am

Kristen Stewart’s 19th birthday is tomorrow, April 9th.

Kristen

She’ll be spending it on the New Moon set, just like her 18th was spent.

Happy Birthday Kristen from Twilight Gurls! We hope you have a great one.

Kristen has also been around the Internet lately, with her new Twitter and MySpace, updating her fans on what she’s doing at the moment. Robert has a Twitter as well, but most aren’t sure if it is actually him.

Would Rob or Kristen actually have time for social networking? I don’t even have time for it! We’re pretty positive it’s Kristen’s official MySpace and Twitter, but sorry girls, “therobpattinson” is probably not him.

Miley Dissing Rob?!

In Celebrities on April 8, 2009 at 7:22 pm

Disney star Miley Cyrus, like others trying to jump on the Twilight bandwagon, recently sneaked her opinion in about Robert at the Academy of Country Music awards.

mileyacm

“I’m not a huge Rob Pattinson fan,” Miley said, adding, “Girls aren’t really in love with Rob; they’re in love with Edward.”

I however disagree. I am madly in love with Rob, not a fictional character in the books.

Do you think her statement is true? Are we all gaga over Rob or the character he plays?

Look out Rob, “New Moon” has a new hunk!

Of course, all Twilight fans have taken sides. You either become Team Edward or Team Jacob, and for those neutral, Team “Jedward”.

So, for all the Team Jacob fans, New Moon, set to release late 2009, will definitely make their hearts pound.

Twilight’s leading man, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is set to have a much smaller role, leaving the lime light for Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) to romance Bella (Kristen Stewart).

“I wanted to get ‘Twilight’ over with, let Edward have his time with Bella and get moving with ‘New Moon,’” Lautner, 17, told Life & Style. “It’s about time Jacob got in there.”

Skinny-minny Lautner has piled on 30 pounds for his demanding role of a rapidly growing Jacob Black to help unseat Edward and win over Bella’s heart.

“Taylor is very serious about forming a connection with Kristen,” says co-star Rachelle Lefevre, who plays the nomad Victoria, told Life & Style. “He’ll make sure his relationship with her is just as intense and has just as much chemistry as Rob’s. I think Rob should watch out!”

Kristen Stewart Talks about New Moon

In Cast, Interviews, Kristen Stewart, New Moon on April 1, 2009 at 3:32 pm

Kristen Stewart was interviewed recently about New Moon, the sequel to Twilight. “Its a different movie, a lot happens. She loses him, which is a crazy concept for me to accept, only because that’s the basis of the entire first movie.”

Stewart talked about her character, Bella, and how she matures.  “She’s forced to grow up quite a bit. She’s got strength, like, inner determination.” She continued on, mentioning that the sequel was more lower key and not as ‘sunshine and roses’.

When asked if it was easier for Kristen the second time around, she responded “No, I’m just going right back into it, its just a continuation.”

What are you looking forward to in New Moon?
